Default How Is Everyone Going For Challenge #1? And Is It Still On?

Hi Guys,

Who's been making some money from the challenge?

Is it still open to taking in new reviews?

Would love to hear more about how everyone's going with it since submitting the reviews.

I'm pleasantly shocked to see that the forum had something as amazing as this.

But sad to see that the site is dead...

It might be possible to revive the rankings if the only problem was anchor text over optimization.

According to Chad Kimball, everyone who used strategy has recovered from the Panda/Penguin 100%.

It kinda involves some 301 redirect. Idk, I'm only halfway through it.

99% of my websites got hit by the update.

Maybe we can put a positive spin on this and do it as a case study on how to get a site's traffic BACK.

I'm open to all ideas for this.

301 redirect definitely works.

Quite quickly too. I have a lot of friends who have used it.

Other than SEO, perhaps it's a good idea to use other faster traffic methods. Umm... I suggest maybe:

- Weekly press releases (a lot of people are doing well with this)
- Twitter
- Facebook fan pages
- YouTube & Other Video Sites (Turn the reviews into videos. You can also monetize with Adsense)
- Stumbleupon
- Build a cookware list
- Squidoo (ranking very well now & also gives revenue)
- PDF sharing sites
- JV partnership with various cooking sites
- Viral marketing (enter to win free cookware if you share our site with your friends)

Also, perhaps a blog in addition to the main product review site, where we can post interesting articles. Gather a following, and charge advertising on the site.

Hope we can bring the site back. I would be happy to post articles and get a passive income stream from it to invest in my campaigns.

Is it just me, or is the site TheBestCookware.net no longer up? I can't seem to access it.
