Default FB landing pages

Has anyone got a tutorial on how to make a Facebook landing page. I think you can create them in iframes and used to have a plugin that you could use in Wordpress but it no longer works.

So a quick pointer would be appreciated.

champs I'm guessing you mean a Facebook Fan Page lander right?

If so, are you decent with html and photoshop?

hey champs...

In that case, this tutorial I found does a good job in explaining it:

You don't really need any fancy Wordpress stuff. I just use the Static HTML facebook app which is free (he shows you how in that vid), then I just design what I need via photoshop and html, making sure the size fits within the iframe, which is easy.

It's actually quicker in a way to setup than a normal lander.

That's great, thanks for that.

Unfortunately missed the boat on investing in Month 1 - When is the cut off date for coming on board for month 2?

That plugin is the one I use too. Aweber also has a facebook plugin that you can put right into the page. Works well too.

Chad - I downloaded that static html facebook app and it is awesome. I know html really well so it is so simple to set up.

Will try the route of using fb pages as landers, especially as Will said that he gets really cheap clicks.

The definition from Wordpress.org:

"The Facebook Tab Manager allows you to create landing pages and other types of content to be displayed within Facebook, particularly within the tabs that appear on Facebook business pages and pages for other types of organizations. This provides a way of putting more interesting layouts and functionality into your Facebook pages, without the need to get too deep into fancy programming.

The Facebook Tab Manager was specifically designed to take advantage of a recent Facebook page redesign that added support for iframe tabs on Facebook pages. Optionally, you can now also specify content to be displayed on an associated canvas page"

I have activated this plugin in one of my blogs and am testing it now.
